As Youth Pastors gather in an open; honest forum we hope to challenge, encourage and discover ways to impact our communities w/ the love of Jesus Christ. We want to look at the biblical frame work for youth Ministry, pear “Inside the mind of Youth Pastors” evaluating the values of Youth Ministry and hopefully “rethink” not just practical youth ministry but the philosophy that drives why and how we do youth ministry.

Our discussion time will be broken up into three topics: student leadership/ mentoring, parent/ family ministry, and personal/ church health. We have the privilege this year to bring to youth pastors some incredible resources and leaders on these topics. Mark Matlock (Planet Wisdom) will personally address the group and discuss student leadership and mentoring. Skyping in at camp are Mark Riddle (author of “Inside the mind of Youth Pastors) to discuss personal church health and Chris Graves (co-author of “Re-Think”) discussing parent ministry.

We can spend so much of our days as the spiritual care-takers of others that we as Youth Pastors become ill because of malnutrition. We will spend time each day concerning ourselves w/ our own spiritual well-being.
